Shower? What's a Shower?

This is a quick one, but made me laugh and thought it would be worth sharing.  So, last night was our church ward 'father-kid' campout.  Everyone came home this morning, tired, happy, and of course - smelling like a campfire.  So, the first thing I do is tell the kids to get in showers and clean up.  Derek heads into my shower and a few minutes later pops out and reaches for a towel.  I said, "Buddy, make sure you scrubbed your body with soap and washed your hair with shampoo and did a good job.  If you didn't, go back in and use soap and finish up".  I was waiting for an 'yeah mom, I did that' response, but instead I got a short pause and an "Ok", and then the shower door closed and he went back to showering.

Um...scuse me...just exactly WHAT were you doing in the shower all this time, and just HOW do we forget to clean ourselves while in there?  Is this not the entire point of the shower and water experience?  LOL!!!  This kid - lovable...
